3. Orders and Commissions
3.1 Bespoke Furniture Orders
Each commission is tailored to the client’s design specifications, lifestyle needs, and space requirements.
Following an in-depth consultation, a formal quote will be issued, including design details, chosen materials, timelines, and total cost.
A non-refundable 40% deposit is required to begin work on your piece. This covers design, material procurement, and production preparation.
The remaining 60% must be paid in full prior to dispatch or collection.
Once manufacturing has started, it is not possible to change or cancel the order.
3.2 Restoration Services
We will assess your item’s condition before providing a detailed quote.
A deposit may be requested depending on the complexity or value of the restoration.
Full payment is due upon completion and prior to release of the restored item.
4. Production Lead Times
Lead times are estimated during consultation and vary depending on project scope, material sourcing, and workshop schedule.
You will be informed of estimated completion dates before production begins.
Although we aim to meet these deadlines, delays may occur due to supplier issues, design amendments, or unforeseen events.
In such cases, we will notify you promptly and keep you informed of any changes to the schedule.
5. Delivery and Collection
We offer delivery services throughout the UK. Shipping fees are calculated based on the item’s size, weight, destination, and access conditions.
Customers are also welcome to collect their items directly from our studio by appointment.
It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery path is clear and suitable for the furniture. This includes hallways, stairwells, lifts, and doorways.
If a delivery fails due to access issues, you may be charged for re-delivery or additional storage costs.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Bespoke Furniture
Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of confirmation. After this period, the initial deposit becomes non-refundable.
If materials have been ordered or work has commenced, you may be liable for associated costs.
6.2 Restoration Services
Cancellation is only permitted before restoration work begins.
Any expenses incurred for assessments, ordered parts, or setup will be deducted from the refund where applicable.
7. Warranty and Liability
We offer a 12-month workmanship warranty on all custom furniture, covering structural quality and the integrity of materials under normal household use.
This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, unauthorised repairs, or lack of proper care.
Wood is a natural material, and slight movements, colour changes, or surface cracking due to environmental conditions are not covered under this policy.
Our liability is strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or partial refund of the affected item.
